An excerpt from “Alphabet Boys,” Season 1: “Trojan Hearse” is being broadcast this weekend on the nationally syndicated “Reveal,” from the Center for Investigative Reporting and Mother Jones.

The excerpt tells the story of the FBI’s failed effort to encourage two racial justice activists in Denver to get involved in a harebrained scheme to assassinate the state’s attorney general.
